Did you know that by hugging, touching a tree or putting your bare foot onto mother Earth can drain out your negative energy? Anytime I feel like I need to ground myself I will go out and hug a tree, touch the tree while chanting a mantra or just simply take off my shoes and let my feet though the earth. It is extremely helpful into cleansing our energy. But if you don’t have a backyard or close to nature; you can also burn some sage (keep an eye on it) and then open up all the windows to let the negativity escape and then close the window. Self Love

Self love is one of the most important aspect of our overall wellness. Anytime if you feel defeated or simply just want to feel self love/bliss. All you have to do is place one hand on top of each other on your heart center ( Anahata Chakra) and sit as long as you can breath; as you inhale relax your belly and as you exhale contract your belly button to your spine gently ( not using more energy than needed.) It is said that the heart center is a center of infinite love/source energy that if we focus on it , we will be able to tap into this feeling anytime we need a little uplift. Woke up super fresh and happy today! Gym is done now wrapping gifts and gonna have a #ketofriendly lunch with fam in a bit. But people has been asking me about my pearly smile. And my secret is that I use #charcoaltoothpaste in the morning! For most days I do oil pulling before I brush with the charcoal toothpaste. Also I use a reusable straw to drink coffee or anything that stains the teeth. But the charcoal toothpaste is really great at cleaning out coffee stains, occasional smoke stain and food stains. Remembering Yourself!

Have you been so focused and busy with your tasks/goals/careers/or whatever you are focusing on at the moment, that you forgot about “yourself?”
It just happens sometimes; people lose track of things, it happens. I find that sometimes when we are so focus on this one goal that we forget to take time to take care of ourselves. But being ourselves are what drives us to do what we need/want to do. Remember the ultimate goal of pursing our careers or whatever you are doing is happiness. That’s it, the end game of life is the pursuit of happiness. I know it sounds cliche but it’s not. Because if you see what you are doing and pin point the outcomes; you always want the outcomes to be pleasant or desirable, which points to the goal of happiness.
So today if you were busy and tired doing whatever you are doing; take five mins to half an hour (or longer if time allows) out to do something for yourself. It can be painting your nails, watching a show you always wanted and did not have the time or take that warm bath that you have brought the bath salt for long time ago.
I started doing this two years ago and now I feel so much better. I used to just focus on the job, script, workout, whatever it is that you need to do as an actor; I was trying it all. But soon after my mental and physical state started to send me these signals like “hey, Cynthia is lacking something…and it is making her unhappy.” So I asked myself, what could it be? I am booking jobs, going to auditions regularly, has friends, families…so what could be it? Then I started to write out my daily schedule out on a piece of paper and realized that something is “lacking.” And what i was lacking of is– my personal time, “me time.” And once I scheduled “me time,” see I used the word “scheduled” because if you don’t put it down on a piece of paper or mark a time for this to occur you would always have something to do or you feel like something needs to be done. So you ended up going back to work; and not letting your mind and body rest. So take a reasonable break for yourself, I normally do it before I go to bed.
